1st Line Service Desk Analyst
Location: Newcastle
Salary: GBP21,000 - GBP23,000
Type: Permanent
A leading public sector organisation are looking for 1st Line Service Desk Analyst! You will be joining the Service Desk Team during an exciting period of transformation across their organisation. The organisation in question are a very staff-focused organisation who prioritise employee well-being and development whilst ensuring support and guidance is always on offer. You will be a joining a close-knit service desk team who are both very friendly and social.
You will be diagnosing and resolving basic service desk support calls in a timely manner line with SLAs whilst ensuring asset documentation is maintained and managed. You will also be responsible for assigning and escalating incidents to the relevant teams when they cannot be resolved.
Experience Required:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of IT software and hardware
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- IT GCSE level qualification or equivalent
- ITIL aware
