Agile Recruit is currently looking for Database Developer.
As a Database Developer you will support the design, development and execution of large data projects. You will be working on systems integration projects with many large clients and will be responsible for the creation of automated extraction, transformation and loading of data into systems such as CRM, ERP or Data Lake platforms.
You will also have an opportunity to design and implement data warehousing models, data vaults and data lakes. As a practice, the role will include design and testing. You will be well versed and practiced in database design and development.
SQL Scripting for querying, aggregating, and transforming data is required as a minimum. Having good .NET C# and/or Java programming skills will be a distinct advantage.
You will be working on customer projects and therefore will need good communication and interpersonal skills. Being competent with Microsoft Office is essential.

Essential Skills:
- Experience of working with Basic Extract, Transform & Load (ETL).
- Experience with Querying, aggregation, and transformation of data using SQL.
- Writing stored procedures, scalar/table-based functions including the use of system and local variables.
- Working knowledge of relational database principles.
- Strong communication & interpersonal to communicate with clients.
- Eager to learn new technologies and platforms.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of ETL Tools (SSIS, Talend, Data Factory)
- Working knowledge of a programming language such as Java, .NET (C# and/or Visual Basic)
- Experience with API
- Source control
