IT Security Lead - risk, monitoring, controls

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Security Lead within our IT team.

In this role you will be responsible for driving all IT Security activity and ensuring we maintain a dynamic and robust security posture as well as actively engaging with all business areas to enhance and monitor our IT Security position.

Typical role responsibilities

Ensure Adarma security control monitoring is effective by monitoring established controls and implementing continuous improvements.

Maintain and monitor IT Security controls utilising industry best practice and technology.

Coordinate IT activity with other security stakeholders and have responsibility for IT tasks relating to Adarma's SIEM, VM and DLP tools.

Produce reports on security monitoring control effectiveness.

Ensure IT security risks and issues are captured and escalated and develop key risk indicators and plans to deal with them.

Support development of Computer Security Incident Response Plans.

Support all audit and assurance queries and act as IT Security SME in meetings with stakeholders, clients or Adarma Sales Team.

Actively respond to Incidents, Threats, Vulnerabilities and non-conformities on the estate, liaise with stakeholders and complete reporting in line with organisational procedures.

Support the company in growing, aligning and building further security controls.

Liaise with suppliers to arrange penetration testing and respond to reports to drive remediation and provide reporting on actions taken.

Cloud Environment Monitoring and reporting.

Desirable Requirements

Able to demonstrate required IT Security Monitoring skills. Scripting experience would be beneficial and a good understanding of Windows/MacOS/Linux.

A related degree of equivalent experience.

CompTIA Security+

CISSP, CISM, or CIISEC
