Production Operative Friday to Sunday - 12 Hour Shifts!!

We are recruiting for a ProductionOperative to join a leading supplier of industrial lubricants throughout the UK. This is a permanent role based in Stoke-on-Trent working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - 1pm - 1am (1) with an hourly rate of GBP10.28 per hour plus shift premium of GBP1.36 (GBP11.64 per hour) with potential for overtime. Excellent benefits include a generous holiday allowance, annual bonus scheme based on attendance and KPI performance, pension scheme, onsite parking, employee assistance program, company sick pay, 20% off Nissan vehicles and an annual occupational medical.As a Blending Operative, you will ensure daily blending schedules are executed to meet packed filling/ bulk loading schedules, that Customer demand is met, and maintain quality standards in line with the final product specifications. The role will involve blending, bulk loading, and filling in a safe manner. You will be operating automated batch manufacturing machines and charging additives into manufacturing vessels. In addition, you will be taking samples for quality testing, flushing manufacturing vessels, connecting tanks to the pigging line system, fetching additives from raw material storage, and loading additives. This role will also require moving stock and additives using FLT trucks. We are keen to hear from applicants with manufacturing/ production/ machine operating experience, ideally from a batch process environment. You must be a flexible worker and willing to cover alternative shifts on occasion and performing a variety of duties. Team coordination is essential in this role and good time management and initiative is vital to being successful in this role. A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is required, and you must be willing to work at heights and work outdoors on occasion.
