The Company
Able Bridge Recruitment are exclusively working with a public accounting practice who are exceptionally well established and yet not a household name. The business operate out of a central Edinburgh location and currently employ approximately 70 staff across various disciplines including; Audit, Accountancy services, Tax and Payroll. The organisation have a strong moral fabric and firmly believe in actively encouraging a balance of family and professional living. Their ethos is to be an active training firm, but one where trainees feel as empowered as the directors.

The organisation has benefited in the past with a stable and long standing work force, however there has been a period of disruption which has resulted in a replacement being required for a nearly qualified (CA/ICAS/ACCA), or newly qualified accountant.

The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide accounting services to a range of clints in industry sectors including; Agriculture, Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics (and more).

Unusually for this size of firm, you will get exposure to a large variety of portfolio clients and you will also gain exposure to tax advice/computations for your clients, as well as being able to have 1-2-1 interaction with your client portfolio.

You will be working with working with a mentor who will actively bring you along in your professional studies and will be given all of the tools to aid you in your career growth.

The Requirements
We are seeking applicants from candidates who are CA/ACA/ACCA part qualified, and who are in their final years of professional studies. We are seeking individuals who recognise that they are maybe overworked and are looking for a respectful training practice. It is essential for candidates to be experienced within an accounting practice (within the UK), and have exceptional communication skills.
