Berry Recruitment are looking for a experienced Stores Person for our client who is a well know venue near Towcester.
The Role - Stores Person
To assist with the effective supervision of the stores process, food deliveries, storage & stock management
Responsibilities
Follow the department controls & processes throughout the F&B stock handling process helping to manage and reduce waste.
Report any discrepancies or quality issues to your line manager
To undertake any other duties or training as required
To complete tasks to help deliver F&B events in a timely manner
Accept F&B deliveries and process them in line with company policy
Manage the work schedules and collate food, beverage & catering equipment required for events.
Ensure operational venues and cleared back and vehicles are cleared of equipment and stock
Work with your line manager to identify F&B and catering stock requirements.
Adhere to Food safety and Health & Safety compliance polices
Carry out and record temperature controls daily as required or instructed in line with HACPP procedures.
Check in deliveries ensuring correct items and quantities are delivered and paperwork completed.
Report any health & safety issues
Ensure stores areas and vehicles and safe and secure and monthly maintenance audits are carried out.
Required Attributes
Good communication skills
Work well in a team and on your own initiative
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail
Full clean driving licence
Basic food handling/hygiene awareness/ hold a current food hygiene certificate.
Flexible approach to work including some evenings and weekends
Salary
Up to GBP23,000 working 40 hours per week,
