Procurement Buyer/Spares Coordinator

We are a long-established local Company manufacturing heavy equipment for the Timber Industry, seeking a Procurement Buyer/Spares Coordinator to manage and develop manufacturing material purchases and sales of spare parts. Bias towards purchasing with a technical background, knowledge of MRP and Sage/CIM an advantage but not essential.

Experience of negotiating tenders and contract submissions. Proven experience of purchasing raw materials, managing stock systems, contract negotiations and following an accredited system. Working closely with the supply chain to ensure that products, parts are delivered on time.  

Leadership ability and the confidence to work unsupervised are key factors. Ability to problem solve and implement targeted actions. Ability to lead operational and business site development. Ensure all statutory requirements are maintained.

Full-time/Part-time depending on candidate. Competitive salary.
