Quality Assurance Manager (Defence)
Hours Per Week37.5
Working Schedule: 4 day week Mon - Thurs
Location: Bedfordshire 2 in 2 out
Salary: GBP55-60k
Specific Job Description
*Point of contact for all quality assurance issues reporting to the programme quality manager
*Attend and support key stakeholder meetings
*Populate/Plan/Execute reporting (down/up) including quality notification metrics
*Manage and support road block removal
*Identify and Implement continuous improvement actions and opportunities
*Manage effective team deployment
*Provide cover on peak demand and absences
Required skills:
Experience of managing people in a high pressure production environment
Experience of ISO9001/AS9000
Experience of quality management and non-conformance process
Excellent communicator both written and verbally
Excellent IT skills in particular MS Office
Ability to analyse data and make decisions based on that data
Desired skills:
Experience of SAP
Auditing experience
Experience of defence/aerospace environments
The Quality Assurance Manager role will involve working on UK classified programmes the candidate must therefore be willing and able to obtain a security clearance
