Key Responsibilities & Attributes
To work on a national project installing fibre optic cables direct to our customers
You will need to have the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize your workloads to ensure targets are met and exceeded
Installing, blowing, splicing/terminating & testing fibre.
Working of the highway/footway
H&S - carrying out all works safely/hazard free complying to H&S/SROH regs.
Working from drawings/schematics/duct diagrams
Experience
A minimum of 18 months recent experience is required of working on a Telecommunications multimedia network.
Experience and qualifications in installing "blown fibre" networks.
Experience in installing "blown fibre" tubing (Underground and overhead)
Fibre jointing/splicing
End to end testing of fibre networks (OTDR)
Fire stopping (provision/removal)
