Position: Mechanical Fitters
Type: Contract
Duration: 9 months
Location: Portsmouth
Rate: Local GBP25.50 p/h plus overtime.
IR35: Inside

HSB Technical are currently looking for a number of Mechanical Fitters / Marine Engineer to work on a number of naval vessels doing maintenance/overhauls.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical fitter of all general Marine systems.
Experience with HVAC and piping systems.
Striping engines down and rebuilding
Fitting all mechanical components.
Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
Report to the Site Manager / Site Supervisor/ Engineer for matters relating to quality and safety.
Be confident in working from technical drawings when needed.
Installation of all mechanical systems on a nuclear site.
Make sure that all Health and Safety regulations are being followed at all times.
Requirements:
SC Clearance would be a benefit but if you don't have clearance our client with put you through this process.
Able to work from technical drawings.
Would need be able to provide evidence of qualifications/apprentice trained.
Site Installation/Maintenance experience (preferred) in Marine / Nuclear Industry/Power Generation but would consider other industries.
