A successful and well established food manufacturer is seeking a Junior National Account Manager to develop and build strong commercial relationships with customers. You will possess a commercial background within an FMCG business and experience working with UK retailers.
Commutable from: Banbury, Bicester, Oxford, Oxfordshire, Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Daventry, Towcester, Buckingham
Salary: GBP 35,000 - GBP 40,000 per annum, plus car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank, employer pension contribution, medical cashback scheme
The Role
The Junior National Account Manager will be responsible for:
Building strong commercial relationships with customers and maintaining the profit and loss status of your own accounts to deliver sales and profitability targets.
Seeking opportunities to grow sales with existing and new accounts whilst also achieving company profit targets and supporting your colleagues on 'how to win' with your customers and uphold best practice.
Building solid internal relationships with other departments so all teams are on the same page and plans delivered on time and analysing account performance to recommendations to continually improve performance.
The Person
You will possess a commercial background within an FMCG business working with UK retailers and be an ambitious driven individual who is excited by fast track career progression and continuous professional development.
The Junior National Account Manager will possess level of numeracy skills (including financial numeracy) and be able to demonstrate effective relationship building skills. You will have a keen understanding of the FMCG marketplace, with an understanding of the key players in this sector and ideally a good understanding of how an account manager / buyer relationship flourishes in the food products sector.
