As a Facilities & Support Services Co-ordinator you will provide an efficient, effective and flexible support and facilities management service within a complex portfolio. You'll support the team to meet its objectives by ensuring high standards of business support, compliance, customer service and facility maintenance.

What it's like to work here

You will be based primarily at Fell Foot which is situated at the very southern tip of Windermere, Fell Foot is a great, family friendly location to play, explore and relax. Sweeping lawns offer plenty of space for games, picnics, and gentle walks, while easy lake access makes the park perfect for paddling, swimming, and boating.

On occasions will be required to work with the Facilities & Support Services team across the Central & East Lakes Portfolio, which covers 25,000c acres of land, from Langdale across to Ullswater including Grasmere, Ambleside, Troutbeck and Windermere as well as Fell Foot, with 55 tenanted properties, 25 farms, 2 'mansion' properties, a 65ft waterfall, 3 ranger bases, 4 hydro schemes, an Albion cattle herd, lakeshore paths and high fell-tops all within our care.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with our Facilities Manager and as part of the role you'll be responsible for banking, bookings, invoicing, duty management and a wide variety of ordering supplies. You'll be the main contact between our regular contractors on site arrange call outs when necessary and we well as using our systems and processes to log and track these.

To be fantastic in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer skills, including outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to respond to varying pressures, difficult situations and requests
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Skilled listener with good people skills.
