Production Operative & Forklift Driver

This is an excellent opportunity to join our client a small manufacturing company based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. You will be working as part of a production team undertaking various tasks from setting and operating machinery to working on busy production lines. This role does not require you to have any warehouse experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking for a long-term position with future career growth within the company.

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours Available - PLEASE LET US KNOW WHICH SHIFT YOU WISH TO APPLY FOR
Split Shift: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday (alternating weeks)
Day Shift: 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday
Night Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 10pm - 6am, Thursday 10pm - 5am
Hourly Rate: GBP9.50 - GBP11.40 per hour + Holiday Pay
Duration: Temporary - Permanent

Duties will include:
- Feeding raw materials into machinery
- Operating production line equipment including conveyor lines.
- Assembling goods onto pallets ready to distribute to the warehouse.
- Packing of goods for the warehouse.
- Keeping the factory production area clean and tidy whilst working.

Key skills and attributes required:
- Of fit health for lifting and loading materials
- Strong work ethic and desire to progress.
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow instruction
