I currently have a new role for a Project Build QS for a reputable Main Contractor based in Preston who have been operating for over 30yrs.
They are now going through a period of growth with their framework clients on wide ranging schemes throughout the northwest. Projects scope from low value maintenance works circa GBP25-GBP100k up to GBP6m new build D&B.
You will have confidence in your ability to build excellent rapport with the Client Supply chain and Sub-Contractors. This alongside always making a healthy margin.
Specifically, you will undertake the following duties:
Measurement
Interim payments
Procurement procedures
Monthly valuations
Variations and client meetings
Take off lists
Managing site staff, housekeeping
Administrative duties
Precedence of drawings
Statutory applications
Design meetings and Value engineering
Monthly Cost Reports
Sub Contract Final AccountsYou will receive an excellent salary and package if successful
