Our client is involved in new product research, design and development of innovative electronic products for a global industrial market. Working within a multi-disciplined team you will be involved in all stages of the product development cycle.
Ideal candidates will be professionally astute and able to use their initiative to maximum effect. Candidates should also will be willing to undertake further professional development where required.
Skills and experience sought will include:
* Strong academic qualification to degree level in electronic engineering or closely related discipline
* Strong analogue, SMPS and power design skills
* Experienced in multi-layer PCB design
* Experienced in product compliance
* Skilled in data analysis and simulation
* Experienced in component selection, justifying circuit design by analysis and reliability testing
* Overall product design experience and DFM
* Excellent communication, report writing and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced engineering environment
In addition the following skills would also be useful:
* Experienced in embedded firmware development, C preferred
* Simulink or NI LabVIEW experience
* High voltage electronic design
