Just Recruitment is working with a growing 'Not For Profit' organisation, based in Ipswich. They are looking for a Trust Fundraiser to join their income generation team and can consider applicants from either a charity or fundraising background or a candidate with excellent communication skills, with an interest in the charitable sector.

The key purpose of this role is to support the Income Generation Team in raising funds from both statutory sources and trusts and foundations, working towards large unrestricted and restricted fundraising targets. They will research and write compelling funding applications and manage multiple funder reports.

Key duties include:
To regularly research potential funding opportunities in line with the charity's aims and objectives, highlighting areas of potential development
To contribute to and build a pipeline of prospective fundraising opportunities
To write a number of high-quality funding applications, in a timely fashion and in accordance with funders' specific requirements
To maintain and develop new and existing funder relationships, ensuring donor stewardship is well maintained to a high standard
To regularly write monitoring and evaluation reports for funders, working closely with service managers and the finance team to ensure accurate information is submitted on time and to a high standard
Effectively manage a small trust mailing system, regularly sending out appeal letters each month and continually building a pipeline of potential small trusts
To provide generic content support for funding applications by maintaining accurate data files, libraries of service information, application templates and updated case studies
Liaise with staff from all areas of the charity to support the production of funding applications, this includes carrying out project visits
To maintain sufficient knowledge of all services delivered, making sure all funding applications meet strategic aims
To keep up to date with relevant research documents and news articles that evidence a need for the charity's work and draw on a wide range of data sources to ensure that proposals are well evidenced
Be responsible for keeping the income generation database up to date with funder information, ensuring all information is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion
To assist with all fundraising activities delivered by the income generation team as and when required
To attend fundraising events outside of normal working hours as and when required

This opportunity offers a flexible working model - both working from home and office based, based on a 35 hour week.
