Job Description:

To assist in the high quality delivery of the Council's Open Spaces cleansing service and to undertake cleansing rounds in accordance with the agreed schedule and frequency, including thorough Cleansing of all aspects of Public Conveniences cleansing and maintenance, litter picking and emptying of bins.

Job Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for the general cleanliness of an area to include mechanical,
• hand sweeping and litter collection using a handcart.
• To be responsible for the emptying of litter and dog bins.
• To collect fly tipping.
• Operate a range of tools and machinery in order to successfully carry out day today operations
• Apply road salt to footways and open spaces during snow or ice conditions.
