Mary Frances Trust delivers a vibrant programme of support to people across Mid Surrey needing help to improve their wellbeing and mental health. We need an enthusiastic and well organised person to join us as the Area Coordinator for Mole Valley to continue and expand our work there.
Mary Frances Trust is the lead provider of Community Connections services in the area and currently has offices in Epsom, Banstead, Elmbridge, and Leatherhead. We have contracts with the NHS, the local CCG and Surrey County Council and our work is on-going.
The person we are looking for will be based in Leatherhead with some home-based work but will be expected to travel to venues across our area to deliver activities and support clients.
The job is varied and interesting - one day you may be running a coffee morning and the next you may be leading a walk or talking to clients online or over the phone.
One aspect of the Area Coordinator's position is to ensure that there are groups, courses and activities in the area that meet the needs of our clients. The Area Coordinator also meets with clients and introduces them to the service; works with them to plan achievable steps towards recovery and supports them with signposting and referral to other agencies if necessary. There is quite a lot of admin too! These are just a few of the varied and interesting tasks that make this role so rewarding.
It is a busy job, and you will be part of a small supportive team who have similar roles in other areas.
We need someone who is empathetic but also understands boundaries; who is able to work under their own initiative but is also a good team player; and who can work 37 hours a week, with some flexibility around hours. In return we will offer you a permanent contract (after the successful completion of probation) and a salary of GBP28,456 per year.
MFT is a great organisation to work for; we care about our staff, and we are growing all of the time!
