MPI are looking for a Permanent Account Manager for our client based in Bedford who are one of the global leaders in Electronic Manufacturing Services with 17 Manufacturing locations.
Salary
GBP35K with 5% bonus based on objectives.
Hours 37 - Mon to Thurs 8.30 to 5.00 and Fri 8.30 to 1.30
Contributory pension scheme
Holidays 25 rising in increments of 1 per full calendar year to max 28 plus Bank Holidays.
Mission
* To manage the strategy and communication with assigned customers (Customer Management) with the 5. BD Sales & Marketing team
* To lead their Customer Focus Team (Team Management)
* To manage the profitability of assigned projects (Financial Management)
Responsibilities
Be the customers' point of contact
-Answers to all customer requests
Informs customer of internal changes as required
Helps to resolve issues and complaints
Applies the terms of the contract (forecast, ECO, etc.), leads contract renewal negotiation, ensures contracts are always kept updated and applied
Drives performance to achieve the best possible level of customer satisfaction
Coordinates Quarterly Business Review (QBR) as required
Leads the QBR process in the PLM and with customers
Is responsible for growing the business with existing customers
Helps to build the common strategy with a global vision (multi-sites, high/best/low-cost region) with 5.3.2 Manager - Sales
Knows the leverage to grow the business
Leads the CFT (10.4.1 Engineering Leader - Project Manufacturing; 8.5.4 Logistics Leader - Planning; 7. Quality and 9. GMSCM)
Animates weekly team meetings
Publishes meeting minutes
Follows up action plans
Coordinates Customer Quotation (CQ) activity
Monitors the CQ process in the PLM as required
Manages and leads the CQ presentation to customers
Coordinates New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
Monitors the NPI process in the PLM
Manages the project Risk Analysis, the start-up of a new program, product implementation, plan, schedule
Coordinates the Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
Initializes the ECO in the PLM
Manages the cost impact analysis of ECO
Presents and asks to customer validation of ECO
Creates and updates data in the ERP as required
Process Sales Setup (GSU 04): creates, manages, and controls customer relationships with 5. BD - Sales & Marketing and 2. Finance & Administration
Process Customer Forecast Maintenance (MAN 02): loads customer forecast with 8.5.5 Logistics Analyst - Planning
Processes Customer Requirement (S&M 03) and Sales Order Maintenance (S&M 01): update customer forecast and schedule with 8.5.5 Logistics Analyst - Planning
Ensures and maintains the financial profitability of projects
Works with 9. GMSCM for material cost and with 10.4.1 Engineering Leader - Project Manufacturing for labour cost and with 12. Lean
Interfaces with 9. GMSCM and with 10.4.1 Engineering Leader - Project Manufacturing to ensure manufacturing material requirements and associated costs are met as required by contracts
Checks inventory levels and on-time delivery
Manages excess and obsolete inventory
Provides accurate and regular forecasts per the financial planning cycle
Manages and analyses the customer P&L
Ensures the right quality level based on customer target
Education/Qualification
* 3-5 years' experience in similar positions in the Electronic Manufacturing Services industry preferable
* Communication, Negotiation, Teamwork, Project management, Customer-oriented, Leadership, Strictness, Ability to work under pressure
* English professional mandatory, Knowledge of electronics, Knowledge of commercial rules, Finance literacy, MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Time and priorities management, Methodology of problem-solving, PLM and ERP knowledge
