Role: HSQE Manager Required
Location: Wembley (flexible) with travel to various site locations required.
A HSQE manager is required to work for a busy plant hire company that works nationally. The role is to be outward looking and to spend time with our operators which are working on our clients sites nationally to engage with them, and their needs.
There will be a requirement to engage with client working groups, and industry working groups to help learn and develop requirements and to ensure that the messages and best practise cascade down to the Flannery Plant on site workforce. The role will be supported by the training team which will consist of 2 training centres and over 10 mobile trainers.
Mental health first aid would be a requirement as would be the requirement to manage a team of mental health first aiders and to driver initiatives to offer our workforce not just support when needed but to try to build a community and a support network.
To help to manage and shape our Operate Safe initiative to role our training, videos and bulletins to drive a cultural change and to keep our workforce engaged.
Environmental initiatives to again drive best practice messages and to raise awareness to improve practices within our workforce.
Industry experience is preferred, the successful candidate should be able to self-motivate and be able to proactively drive and develop all of the areas mentioned above (although there is a large support network within the business to lean on). The support network consists of the operations managers and directors, trainers, training centres, as well as board directors.
Salary is negotiable
