Pure staff Ltd are currently recruiting for multiple Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver working a Night Shift based in Shepton Mallet. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who distribute goods nationwide and is experiencing an exciting period of growth
Duties for this Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver role are as follows:
tipping delivery vehicles returning to the depot
loading freight onto outbound double deck trailers
Minimal handball required
Ensuring smooth running of goods coming in and out of the depot
Using hand-held scanners to check goods inWe currently have two fixed shift patterns available:
Monday to Friday
22:00 - 06:00 (30 minute unpaid break)
Rate of Pay: GBP11.70
OR
Tuesday to Saturday
Rate of pay: GBP11.20
03:00 - 11:00 (30 minute unpaid break)
Overtime rates are as follows:
After 40 hours worked all hours paid at GBP14.63
The working environment is an open yard however you will also be required to work inside the warehouse
There are fantastic benefits such as free onsite parking, a fully equipped canteen and the opportunity for a permanent contract following a successful 12 week probation period
Candidates must have a valid accredited counterbalance forklift license to be considered for this role
