Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the Technical Facilities Team. You will provide a supporting role to the team, internal colleagues, and external service providers. As the Technical Team Member 3 you will have administrative responsibilities for the team, prioritising incoming operational requests and problem solving day to day difficulties faced by the operational facilities team.

You will have daily interaction with the Technical Team, internal colleagues and third parties via Microsoft teams and face to face meetings, helping to deliver frontline asset management services that are essential to the statutory and legal compliance of NRW’s buildings and assets.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Good knowledge of H&S legislation relating to the H&S at work Act.
  2. Associate of British Institute of Facilities Management (ABIFM) or similar
  3. Experience of delivering a service in an asset management environment, writing process and procedure documents, assisting in the management of contracts and contractors and delivering support to the frontline Facilities Operational teams.
  4. Experience of delivering technical and accommodation related services within a shared service centre environment to include:
  • Good understanding of using ICT systems and other software / applications to meet the requirements of your area of responsibility.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate confidently, with excellent customer service skills
  • Good inter-personal skills with the ability to work under pressure using your own. initiative in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong IT and accurate data entry skills.
  • Experience of implementing change or process improvement would also be advantageous
