Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced candidate to supervise a small team at our client's warehouse at their site in Wolverhampton. You will be required to rotate on a weekly basis across both morning and afternoon shifts.
Hours of Work:
Mornings -
Mon - Fri: 06:00 - 14:30
Afternoons -
Mon - Thur: 14:00 - 22:30
Fri: 13:00 - 21:30
40 hours per week. 10% shift allowance applies to afternoon shift.
Rate of pay:
GBP11.00 P/H + 10% when working afternoon. (Will be reviewed after 3 months)
Job specifications / duties:
• To be involved in start of shift meeting to gather information and organise the delivery team to complete daily workload
• Make sure correct materials are loaded onto company vehicles within weight limits
• Communicate effectively with staff
• Make sure staff have correct PPE and equipment for operations in plant
• 1st level of escalation for any issues in plant
• Improve staff efficiency
• Contact IT for support if required
• Alert management to issues and participate in resolving problems
• Supervise staff to ensure all tasks are completed safely and to the required standard in an efficient and timely manner
• Carry out spot checks and process confirmation of staff
• Supervision of staff driving company vehicles to and from plant
• Support with warehouse operations where required
• Participate in weekly progress meetings with management to present and discuss any issues, suggestions and improvement ideas
• Organise line side stock counts and batch swaps
• Use an RF scanner to perform replenishment scans to re-order materials and deliver materials to line
