Job Title: Production and Packing Operative
Location: Shepton Mallet
Salary: GBP9.60 an hour
Hours of work: PM Shift 2pm - 10pm *There may be occasions you will be asked to work different hours. Appropriate notice will be given

Production and Packing Operative
HR GO recruitment are looking for someone to assist in the production of filled and shaped chocolate products. To work within a team environment in various departments depending on the requirements of the business. To be able to work with senior members of staff and have the initiative to work alone and unsupervised when required.
Job Description
Work in production area to guarantee the delivery of finished product
To assist in all aspects of the process from material supply, through to the packing of finished product
To ensure continuous operation of the line through support of all team members
To ensure the correct supply of packaging and ingredients are collected from the warehouse.
To raise any issues with Senior Production Operative when required
To always adhere to all company and site policies
Requirements
A positive, friendly attitude
Strong resilience and be able to work on a fast-paced production line for long periods of time
Ability to work hard and well under pressure
Good teamwork and communication skills
Good numeracy, literacy and analytical skills
Flexible, committed and reliable
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Accuracy and diligence
Previous experience in Food Manufacturing and Production industry
Required
HACCP Level 1
Food Hygiene & safety Level 1 & 2
Manual Handling
