Our client is a global medical communications agency that works with leading pharmaceutical companies and medical institutions worldwide. They offer innovative medical education and business solutions in a wide range of therapy areas through communications programs, digital services, virtual meetings, and expert panels. They are currently looking for a Scientific Team Leader to join their offices in Cheshire.

In this role you will join a talented and dynamic team in the Cheshire hub, developing a range of core medical education content in a variety of therapy areas for global pharmaceutical clients. You will also work closely with the wider team, collaborating to produce both innovative and high-quality medical education programmes.

*Prospective candidates must have significant previous medical communications experience and eligible to work in the UK.*

*Responsibilities:*

* Manage, provide editorial input, and create content for a range of deliverables across a breadth of therapeutic areas and act as lead writer on multiple accounts
* Work closely with other members of the team to create strategic project plans
* Liaise directly with internal, external, and international stakeholders and travel internationally as required to client meetings, scientific programmes, conferences, etc.
* Contribute to business development for new and existing clients

*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*

* Life science degree, MSc or higher essential
* Significant previous medical writing experience creating a range of copy, in a variety of therapy areas, within a medcomms agency
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of the drug development process and regulatory guidelines
* Experience working in another country or fluency in another language desirable
