Role: EXPERIENCED SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARY SURGEON
Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
Hours: Permanent, Full time, 4-5 days per week, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, no Sunday, bank holiday or OOHs

VetFinders are proud to be working in partnership with this wonderful independent, 2 branch practice, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. They are looking for ideally a 5 year + Companion animal Veterinary Surgeon, that is happy with sole charge, all routine surgeries and clinical consultations.
About the practice:
This wonderful Independent, is a small two practice, companion animal practice located in Aberdeen, and has been servicing the local area and surrounding neighbourhoods for nearly 30 years, resulting in a loyal client base, built through excellent reputation.
The practice prides themselves on being able to provide an excellent veterinary service for their clients at affordable prices.
Set in a picturesque part of North East Scotland, it offers easy access to the Highlands, coastal areas with fantastic beaches and inland areas of significant beauty.
Both practices offer well equipped branches, including in house laboratory equipment at both sites and a DX digital x-ray machine, ultrasound scanner and endoscope at the main site.
The team is experienced, well established, hardworking, and supported by a dedicated team environment.
The Role:
Within this role, the practice needs an experienced Vet, of ideally 5 years post graduate experience. There will be sole charge requirements each week.
The candidate must be confident and experienced in a wide variety of surgical procedures, and happy to complete them, accordingly.
The ability to be flexible in your approach, both clinically and surgically, with dedicated support from the team. The team itself is small in numbers but big in care, support and teamwork.
You would be working 4 x 10-hour days each week between the main practice in Dyce, which is situated close to the airport and main train line and the busy branch practice in Aberdeen. The post will include Saturday morning working on a rota basis but no evening or weekend on-call.
You will become part of the team, a dedicated member of the friendly, supportive team. Case work discussions, and support to others is important, so to help each other do the best job that we can for patients and clients in their care.
This role gives you clinical freedom, and all the perks of working your own cases from end to end.
