Job purpose
To lead on the Mental Health training contracts managed by Oxfordshire Youth, being the first point of contact for mental health training and providing administration to effectively meet the training targets.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication, organisational and IT skills. You will have exceptional attention to detail and be accurate and meticulous in your work.
You will bring an enthusiastic and proactive approach to teamwork; the ability to prioritise your workload and having a flexible, adaptable attitude will be needed in this busy role.

The three key objectives are:
1. A passion for delivering high quality training and ensuring consistency across delivery
2. To lead on the coordination and administration of the all current and future Mental Health training contracts answering any queries relating to these areas.
3. To provide excellent organisational and administrative skills to deliver the mental health training contracts ensuring all targets are met.
Duties and responsibilities
Coordinate existing Mental Health Training Programmes
This role seeks a passionate person to support a pool of trainers and to coordinate the training across the county. Good organisational and analytical skills are essential. A strong ability to work in partnership with a range of partners is a key element of this role. The three existing training contracts are:
CAMHS Partnership: In partnership with Response, Oxford Health NHS Trust and other third sector organisations have come together to create a CAMHS Partnership. Oxford's approach to this model has now been working very successfully for 3 years; this post offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of something innovative.
This partnership supports young people who are experiencing mental health illness, delivering fresh approaches, offering consistent support and holistic interventions. Oxfordshire Youth has a key training role in this partnership. Utilising our network of members we coordinate the roll-out of Children and Young People's Mental Health Awareness Training, for teachers and practitioners working with children and young people in the county.
Mental Wealth Academy: The Mental Wealth Academy is a vital new partnership offering a proactive and preventative programme of non-clinical mental health services for 18-25 year-olds across Oxfordshire. As a partner in the Mental Wealth Academy, Oxfordshire Youth plays an integral role in providing mental health awareness sessions for parents and carers of young people experiencing mental health issues.
Senior Mental Health Lead training: A new partnership project working with Safe4Schools; the post holder will promote the Senior Mental Health Lead training package, provided by Safe4Schools, encouraging school contacts to undertake the training as part of the DFE grant programme.
Key responsibilities
Promoting the training to Schools, Colleges and partner organisations in Oxfordshire and liaise directly with them to organise training sessions.
Working in partnership with key partners including, but not limited to, Oxford Health, CAMHS, Response, OSCB, Safe4Schools and the OY Youth Partnerships Team to promote the training to the identified beneficiaries
Coordinating and supporting the pool of Trainers
Meeting the training target as set out in the sub-contracts
Managing trainers through regular (quarterly) network meetings
Support trainers with resources and printing
Liaising with partner organisations to coordinate booking systems
Identify and book venues for training when required
Identify and confirm dates for training with Schools / colleges and other organisations
Informing trainers of training bookings
Book trainers and participants onto training
Manage bookings for training sessions through Eventbrite
Managing administration of all sessions, ensuring all information is sent to participants before and after the sessions
Cascading training information to staff, volunteers, hosts and external organisations
Promoting training and sending out reminders
Keeping a record of information about our trainers and ensuring the trainers are able to fulfill their requirement to train
Creating training reports and keeping records of attendees/feedback
Measure impact through survey and evaluations
General
To attend team meetings and regular supervision with line manager.
To work toward all KPIs as agreed with the line manager.
To ensure all DBS procedures are carried out in accordance with Oxfordshire Youth's guidelines, policies and procedures.
To undergo training enabling personal and professional development.
To undertake other relevant duties related to the further development, promotion and sustainability of the charity.
