A highly motivated individual is required for my well estabslished client based in the outskirtsn of Loughborugh
You will be joining their Production Team to deliver the efficient and effective knitting and weaving of bandages.
You would be responsible for working in a safe manner to manufacture product of excellent quality with the lowest waste and best value so that they consistently exceed our On Time In Full delivery to customer target.
The role involves working rotating shifts which are:
6.00AM - 2.00PM, 2.00PM - 10.00PM and 10.00PM - 6.00AM in their bandage production department.
This position is offered on a fixed term contract for 6 months with the potential for permanent employment for the right person.
The successful candidate will:
* Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner
* Ensure that the equipment and machinery is in a safe condition
* Promote safe behaviours and good housekeeping in your work area
* Report any safety or quality hazards immediately
* Ensure that the product being manufactured meets the high quality standards expected by our Team and our Customers
* Ensure that the production is adhered to so that our OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery targets are achieved
* Ensure that production is completed in an efficient manner with the lowest possible waste
* Share best practice and contribute to continuous improvement activities
* Suggest improvements to existing processes and procedures
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills whilst positively engaging with other Production Team Members and the wider business
* Promote a positive team spirit
* Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously
Previous experience in a related industry is highly desirable, full training on the specific equipment used will be provided.
Due to the nature of the working hours, applicants must be able to travel to work without using public transport
