Job Outline;
Supporting the company with day to day responsibilities and producers on purchases. Working closely with the Spanish head office as well as the UK accounts department ensuring a smooth running of the key company processes.
Key skills and responsibilities of the job;
* Maintain and update purchasing data
* Contacting vendors
* Follow up on timeliness of deliveries with vendors
* Verifying/insuring products meet buyer specifications
* Following up on invoices, as necessary
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment to identify, clarify and resolve routine purchasing problems (e.g. resolve discrepancies on RFPs and purchase orders as they arise)
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Proficient knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
* Works well and communicates effectively with others
* Ad hoc tasks as required in line with responsibilities
Profile: Personal Attributes;
* Experience with purchase requisition and purchase order system.
* Strong communicator both - English and Spanish as it is required to liaise with our Head Quarters in Spain
* Excellent time management
* Smart personal appearance
* Clear and positive communicator with good negotiation and influencing skills
* At least 1 years' experience within a similar role
Education and Qualifications;
* A good level of verbal, written and numerical literacy
