Nine Twenty technology have a fantastic new requirement for a Graduate Technical Consultant to join a global IT business here in Glasgow. This market leading organisation help the world's most iconic brands build enduring customer relationships by connecting work, data, and experiences across the
enterprise. They are looking for innovators with the passion, creativity, and drive to help them take on new challenges and deliver real results for their customers.
As a graduate Technical consultant, you will work as part of a teams engaging directly with a number of clients to develop world class customer experience solutions using the company's portfolio of software solutions.
Some of the responsibilities involve:
* Install, configure and utilise software engineering skills to customise products
* Participate in meetings and workshops with clients to gather the client's requirements and explain how CES products meet those requirements
* Utilise other technologies as part of the overall solution
* Carry out testing of the solution and create supporting documentation

Required experience:
* A degree or post graduate qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
* Demonstrable skills in Object Oriented design concepts.
* Knowledge of Relational Database design concepts.
* Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
* Experience of using SQL and relational database technologies e.g. SQL Server, Oracle.
* Knowledge of developing and using Web Services e.g. SOAP.
* Languages: Working knowledge of Java and the majority of the following: HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL/XSLT, Ant, CSS, JQuery, JSP, AjaxT
* Confident communicator
* Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Flexible in approach and attitude
* Works well under pressure and with constantly changing priorities
* Enthusiastic, optimistic and dynamic personality
* Confidence in working in disparate working environments and company cultures
* Excellent work ethic
