Multi Skilled Engineer
Up to GBP38K [D.O.E]
Corby, Northamptonshire
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer
for our clients who are specialists in the production and decoration of high-quality plastic containers based in Corby Northamptonshire.
Title: Multi Skilled Engineer
Salary: Up to GBP38K [D.O.E]

Hours: Panama shift pattern
Start Date: Immediate
This role will be extremely varied and you will need to be able to repair, install and service both Mechanical and Electrical Machinery. As the Mechanical| Maintenance Engineer you will demonstrate a strong understanding of both Pneumatics and Hydraulics. The role will also include maintenance of AC/DC Drives and Motors and PLC control systems. You will also be expected to carry out PPM's across the plant of machines such as: Extruders, finishers and Packaging Machinery.
Facilities and Property maintenance also fall under the Engineering team and this will be as and when required. Daily maintenance, which could be changing of light bulbs, basic plumbing and water systems, along with fire alarm tests. Part of this role will also include inputting data into records for the Engineering department and completing hand over records.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Engineer with proven experience, ideally gained from within food, FMCG or plastics. It would be advantageous though not essential if the successful candidate has knowledge of automatic machines, and a good understanding of mechanical skills to be able to diagnose and repair faults.
