We have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team based at Gower Gardens. You will join us on a part time basis on 31.5 hours per week , in return for a competitive salary of GBP9.50 per hour.

Black Country Care is the health and care division of Black Country Housing Group. Within Black Country Care, we have two residential care homes. One of them being Gower Gardens which is located in Halesowen.

About the Role

Main Purpose of Job - Preparing food and assisting the Cook to ensure the efficient running of the kitchen.

Specific Tasks for a Kitchen Assistant include -

• Assisting with the preparation of all foods, to meet specification and customer requirements.

• Presenting and serving of food in a friendly efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Receiving new stock, checking quality and quantity and maintaining records to meet the relevant food hygiene regulations.
