Our Manufacturing team's growing here at Altro and we are currently recruiting for more proactive and hard working individuals to join us. We have one 12 Month Fixed Term Contracts and one permanent opportunity within Logistics, we have two day shifts and three night shifts which are all permanent opportunities within Value Added Services. The roles are based at our Head office in Letchworth Garden City and will be working on a rotating day shift Monday to Friday.
What will you be doing? As a Warehouse Operative you will perform a variety of different tasks within the Manufacturing department with the goal of delivering excellent customer experience, while proactively contributing to Altro's Zero Harm culture.
Your main responsibilities within Logistics will include:
Picking and packing the customer orders for flooring to deadlines
Loading and unloading transport vehicles with flooring rolls
Undertaking stock takes
To maintain housekeeping to excellent standards and complete 5's audits
Your main responsibilities within Value Added Services will include:
To manufacture transit kits within agreed tolerance levels
To carry out regular quality checks to ensure the accuracy of pieces cut is achieved to the required level.
To label and package all transit kits in line with the agreed packaging specification for each customer.
To ensure all required delivery dates are met for customer orders.
Responsible for the monitoring of stock of flooring material
