Senior Management Accountant - Blackburn - 6-month FTC Permanent - Circa GBP45,000 + Benefits
Our client is a large international business, and we are seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a minimum period of 6 months to provide additional resource whilst the organisation goes through a systems upgrade.
The role of Senior Management Accountant:
* Support the Financial Controller in delivering the financial results including journals, month end close, key line items P&L reporting
* Be responsible for key audit deliverables for responsible areas
* Review work performed by management accountants and assistant management accountants including monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Management and development of Management Accountants and assistant Management accountants
* Supporting the understanding and investigation of variance analysis relating to actuals vs budgets and forecasts with the commercial team
* Work closely with the Financial Controller to develop strong cross functional partnerships across various departments (Transactional Shared Services, Commercial and IT), documenting minutes and actions of key discussions
* Assist in key stages of system implementations/upgrade programmes
It is essential you a fully qualified accountant with strong organisational and communication skills. With proven management skills you will be responsible for the accurate delivery of management accounts and building strong and cohesive relationships across the group
