We currently have an opportunity available for a Data AnalyticsGraduate to join our Environmental Performance team in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP25,500 per annum, increasing to GBP30,000 over the 2 years, plus excellent benefits including relocation support and an annual bonus.

What's it all about?

The Data AnalyticsGraduate will assist with the development of Storm and Emergency overflow assessments and data analytics. It will also support data collation and visualisation for compliance assessment, and the development of the management systems for Event Duration Monitoring and Flow compliance assessment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist the Waste Water Performance Team to develop the necessary management system covering all aspects of EDM
  • Support the development of the EDM asset database and inventory (SMARTS)
  • Investigate and report on the application of the 'significance' threshold to storm overflows
  • Investigate improvements to the Asset Data and Risk Management Portal, especially information relating to storm overflows and pumping station assets
  • Assist with flow to full treatment compliance assessment and setting up relevant processes and systems and tracking maintenance activities

  • Strong analytical approach to data and data quality
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of programming is advantageous but not essential
  • High-quality technical skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • A logical approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
