Hospital Cleaner - Reading
Berry Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading organisation based in Reading who are now looking to recruit Hospital Cleaners.
Location: Reading
Working Hours: 11:00 - 19:30 (37.5 Hour per Week)
Salary:
(Monday - Friday) GBP9.21
(Saturday) GBP13.82
(Sunday) GBP18.42
Key Responsibilities:
To ensure that all areas, including examination and surgery rooms, patients' rooms, laboratories and public areas are kept clean and sanitary.
General cleaning duties that include mopping, vacuuming and sweeping floors; cleaning windows and dusting furniture; washing and changing linens on patients' beds; and ensuring that all waste is disposed of properly.
Empty rubbish, replace the supplies in bathrooms and move items around as needed.
Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times
Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
Candidate Requirements:
A Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Excellent organisation and housekeeping skills
Knowledge of cleaning solution and their uses
Working knowledge of health and safety standards in their industry
Ability to work well under pressure
Great physical fitness and ability to stand for long hours
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
