Customer Service Advisor - Milton Keynes - Highly Competitive Salary - Full Time, Permanent - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Crawford provides a fully integrated, end-to-end property claims solution managing all aspects of the claims process from first notification of loss (FNOL) to settlement and repudiation through our third party administration specialist, Crawford TPA.

What You Will Be Doing - Customer Service Advisor:

You will be the first point of contact when our valued insured clients have an insurance claim. Claims can range from road traffic accidents, uninsured loss recovery, third party interventions, personal injury, key theft and property damage to name a few. Training will be provided to ensure you're confident in answering questions of a technical nature.

You will ensure all relevant information about the claim is accurate and recorded on our system. You'll also be working in partnership with your colleagues in specialist areas of the business, sharing information with them so that the claim can progress as quickly as possible.

It's essential to put yourself in the shoes of the policy holder, appreciate each situation differently by establishing the facts, explaining your questioning and remaining professional throughout the call.

About You:

A background in customer service is advantageous, but we're also keen to hear from you if you're looking for your first customer service office role, are a returner to work or are looking to change your career. You will ideally have/be:

  • Keen to develop client servicing skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Able to understand what matters to the customer and to put this first
  • Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of the importance of a first-class service
  • Good IT skills, particularly with excel, with a keen eye for detail
  • Committed to gaining an insurance qualification which will be fully funded
