The Role - Medical Account Manager, X-ray Imaging Systems

Following expansion within their Medical Imaging business unit, they now seek to recruit a commercially astute Account Manager. Working from home, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the Imaging Systems sales portfolio and established accounts.

Full responsibilities include:

1: Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of Company sales goals and profitability.

2: Implement the Company's sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to customer's decision-makers at all levels.

3: Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts.

4: Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

5: Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

6: Maintains accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports.

7: Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

8: Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

9: Coordinate sales and business initiatives and integrate sales processes across the company in the allocated Territory.

10: Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective sales growth strategies and processes for the business.

11: Serve as the thought leader for sales in the allocated Territory regarding product requirements, selling trends, competitive landscape, marketing programs and communications.

12: Facilitate feedback to different areas of the business regarding client needs, operational needs, business opportunities and marketing/sales programs.

13: Drive the business in the allocated Territory to achieve and surpass sales and business goals and objectives.

14: Provide executive level representation at high-stakes meetings with prospects, clients, and technology/channel partners.

15: Work closely with Product & Services Marketing: channel feedback on product features and functions, trends, program needs, customer outreach programs and events.

16: Recommend selling techniques based on market and product knowledge.

17: Assist in developing brand identity and recognition in the allocated Territory.

18: Provide accurate and timely forecasts using the appropriate sales tools and processes and maintain all relevant information about customers, prospects, campaigns, and leads.

19: Work with Sales Operations team & Sales leadership to ensure business is transacted accurately and within pricing guidelines to the highest ethical standards.

20: Work with customers to ensure timely payments against invoices.

Your Background - Medical Account Manager, Medical Imaging Systems

To succeed in this varied and challenging role, you must be able to demonstrate a background in medical capital equipment sales. You will also ideally have the following knowledge and capabilities:

1: Minimum 5 years Healthcare Sales experience in the allocated Territory.

2: Familiar with business strategies, as well as their associated metrics.

3: A powerful strategist who can quickly adapt to a business model and thoughtfully implement the strategy.

4: Business person who has significant financial acumen, as well as an analytically disciplined mind and execution style.

5: A leader and team builder with personality and cultural skills to win quick acceptance by the organisation.

6: Experience working in a global healthcare-focused technology enterprise.

7: Experience of Medical Imaging and / or Healthcare IT systems preferred.
