A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join a well established Engineering company in Workington.

Our client operate from one of the largest workshops in the UK offering design, consultancy and project management, to manufacture and refurbishment along with electrical engineering, instrumentation and testing to an array of customers in the UK and beyond.

The purpose of this role is to actively support the operation of the business by providing an effective and professional administration service, including HR/Recruitment admin support. Working as part of a team, key accountabilities include:

Carry out administrative duties relating to the projects team, maintenance and manufacturing
Collection of and input of the direct hours time sheets from individuals and liaise and reconcile any booking queries
Input purchase orders for projects and create all item cards
General HR admin duties, including shift change letters, managing holiday balances, sickness and absence reporting
Support recruitment administration and on boarding tasks
Monitor stationary stocks and replenish where necessary to meet business needs
Support the Health & Safety department with audits and other admin tasks
Assist document control with lifetime records during busy periods
Provide reception cover as and when requiredThe ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role, have a HR and/or a recruitment background, or be a strong administrator with the ability to multitask a high volume of work.

This is a full time role working 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Salary will be negotiable upon experience
