We are looking for an experienced IT Account Manager with experience of providing IT services to the NHS. This is an opportunity to join a friendly talented team and a company that produces award winning Healthcare Software company.
As Account Manager you will focus on account managing multiple existing NHS customers and develop the accounts with a view to increasing revenues. You will have direct impact on orders, revenue and profitability of the company by promoting highly technical software solutions that will transform the NHS and provide better integrated care.
Key responsibilities of the Account Manager:
* Account managing a number of NHS customer accounts
* Providing a high quality and responsive service to customers
* Resolving and/or escalating customer account issues to the appropriate business owners and monitoring to a timely resolution that meets the customer expectation
* Protecting and increasing existing customer account revenue
* Defining, negotiating and agreeing commercial terms for new and renewal orders
Key criteria for the Account Manager:
* Excellent knowledge of the NHS
* Good knowledge of the NHS ICT strategies, plans and initiatives
* Ability to manage a complex range of customer requirements, ensuring that deadlines are met
* Persuasive and credible in a sales context
* Proven ability to excel at establishing and building meaningful and strategic relationships with key decision makers
* Experience of preparing proposals and tender submissions as well as preparing and delivering presentations
* Good commercial judgment
* Full UK Driving Licence required
