We are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to support us in our delivery of dining vision at the College. Responsible to the Head Chef, the post holder will manage one of two teams of chefs producing food across the college throughout the year. We provide food for students, staff and Fellows, including the Masters Lodge. The service includes the provision of both regular meals, and special internal functions, including for conference delegates.
The role will support the Head Chef and the Senior Sous Chefs in all aspects of food preparation to the highest possible standards. You will take pride in customer satisfaction and seek to instill creativity into your team on a daily basis, whilst managing menu planning, health and safety checks and appropriate food ordering, amongst other responsibilities.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week. The ability and willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working hours is expected, and you may be required to work additional hours from time to time in order to fulfil the requirements of the role and the needs of the College
