Our school office manager is retiring and we are looking for someone with school office experience to 'step' into the role.

This is a wonderful Church of England Primary school, with 4 classes and a pupil roll of 105, situated just outside Ashford in the lovely village of Brabourne.

The position is for 37 hours pw starting at 8am each day.

Ideally, the right candidate would have experience of SIMs (pupil management information system) and FMS (finance system). However, training is available for the finance system or this could be out-sourced to Schools Finance. The post would be for 37 hours pw (term time + 1 or 2 weeks, dependent on whether finance was included in the package).

Pay would be according to experience and additional Finance responsibility, up to KR7 (GBP26075 pro rata).

The successful applicant should be experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking. They will be the face of Brabourne CEP School and should ensure a welcoming, professional reception to all children, parents, carers, staff and visitors. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Candidates will need to be positive, highly confidential with all matters, have a professional attitude, be well organised, highly flexible and have excellent inter-personal skills. They will be the first point of call for all visitors to the school office as well as for any incoming calls. They will also be responsible for helping manage the day-to-day running of the school.
