Skills Direct Ltd are delighted to be working in partnership with an employer of choice based in Frome, who are experiencing sustained growth. They need a number of Production Operator to join the family and be part of their continued success. This will be a permanent position with great benefits.
What you will be doing:
* Run the machine/part of the line that you are responsible for, to the best of your ability, completing all associated tasks
* Ensure the correct supply of packaging to the filling machines
* Take responsibility for the department on-line quality assurance
* Palletize finished product and transport safely to the cold store
* Ensure quality standards are maintained and improved upon by reducing wastage and re-work levels.
* Compliance Food Health & Safety within the department and the site as a whole.
* Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene and Safety rules and standards.
What you will need to succeed:
* Understanding of the food safety and food factory rules.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* To work as a team member, including showing flexibility. Adaptability, and problem-solving.
* A reasonable degree of manual strength and dexterity.
Rotating Shift : 06.00-14.00 / 14:00 to 22.00 / 22:00 to 06:00
GBP22,239 per annum
Holidays: 25 days + 8 Bank holidays
Company Pensions : 6% employer + 3% employee (after probation)
