Leading IT (MSP) Managed Service Provider based in Sidcup are looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join their team in Sidcup supporting local Business' and schools.

Established in 2002 they provide IT Support to Schools, Colleges and Businesses around Kent and London.

Started by techies, to create a team of engineers and technicians with a focus on relationships not sales, and they believe their success in maintaining a reputation for quality support is built on that simple principle!

Based from their offices in Sidcup the position is a field based 2nd line support role, they're looking for professional, honest, and reliable employees that have a keen interest in all areas of technology and a good understanding of IT.

Essential Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of VMWare and Hyper-V environments
Windows Server Operating Systems
DNS and DHCP
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP
Active Directory
Group Policy
Experience in supporting Desktops, laptops and imaging of these devices.
AV Equipment

Desirable Technical Skills

Unifi/Meraki Wireless Solutions
MDM (Meraki, Jamf, Lightspeed, Apple Configurator)
Google Workspace Administration
Office 365 Administration
AV Installation experience

They're looking for highly motivated applicants with ideally 2-3 years of work IT experience. To be considered you must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and demonstrate a good working knowledge in I.T, experience working in an education environment would be advantageous.

They provide support to businesses, schools, colleges and home users throughout the southeast but primarily within Bromley, Bexley, Dartford and Greenwich, so a good knowledge of the local area would be an advantage but not essential.

Please note that because of their work in schools all members of our support team are DBS checked and employment with us is based on the enhanced check coming back and remaining clean. Because of the field-based nature of the position your own car is essential.

Company phone, clothing, and laptop are supplied, plus paid mileage and expenses.
