Learning Support Assistant Posts
The 30 hours per week (term time and staff training days)
£13,088 - £13617 per annum NJC Grade C
£13,408 per annum NJC Grade C/D*
Required as soon as possible we are seeking to appoint a number of enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants covering a selection of roles at different levels, including a Specialist Learning Support Assistant in Maths. The successful candidates will be able to work on their own initiative and have a minimum of literacy and numeracy skills to level 2.
Experience of working with young people with behavioural needs and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities would be an advantage.
We are anticipating making a number of appointments on the interview day:
- General LSA, Grade C, 30 hours a week (permanent)
- Specialist LSA, Mathematics focus, Grade C,18 hours a week (permanent)*
- Specialist LSA, Mathematics focus, Grade D, 12 hours a week (permanent)*
- General LSA, Grade C, 30 hours a week (temporary as linked to temporary funding for a specific student in Year 7. The majority of this role will be to support this student in and out of the classroom).
