Our Support team at Salutem encourage children and young people to fulfil a stable daily routine and achieve their best. That might mean supporting them to go to school or organising a trip to a museum. The children and young people we look after may require complex care, but that doesn't stop them from having fun, laughing hard and loving life.
At Orchard House we believe that teamwork makes the dreamwork! You could say we care for each other as much as we care for the individuals we support, but that's because we know by working well as a team, we will achieve the very best for the children and young people here.
We recently won the Salutem Step Challenge, which was a wellbeing initiative run by our organisation where our teamwork really brought us together to succeed! We were so pleased to be awarded first place after we walked nearly 3.6 million steps, which could have taken us to Greece or Tunisia!
But that's what makes us who we are, we work hard and achieve great things, and we're so lucky to have so much fun while we do it! Not to mention witness the amazing outcomes for the people we support, who really do live their best lives.

Each day will be different, and the main focus of your role is to provide daily support in our residential services. It's definitely not a normal 9-5, you can work days, nights, and flexible shifts too. Talking of 'dream' jobs, some of our shifts are sleep-ins!

As a keyworker in the Care sector, you'll hold a valued role in society.
