Assistant Telecoms Technician
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Telecoms Technician to join a dynamic IT Operations team based either in Grimsby or Scunthorpe.
This position would suit someone who is looking to obtain an insight into or further experience within the IT field.
A full driving license is beneficial for this role as there is a requirement to work across sites, transport can be provided however.
You will be working to support services that provide patient care and assistance.
Your duties will be based around investigating and resolving any technical issues that impact the telecoms service across the organisation. Additionally you will assist the team on various projects.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Provide day to day technical support and administration of the Trust mobile phone estate
- Provide any relevant information for service users as appropriate
- Investigate routine enquiries from staff and provide assistance
- Assist in the consistent delivery of Telecoms services across all Trust sites
Essential abilities include:
- Awareness of the IT communications field
- Good understanding of Windows MS Office applications
- Excellent telephone manner and customer support skills
Desirable:
- Previous NHS experience
- Previous work within an IT/Telecoms team
Suitable candidates will possess:
- Strong organisational skills
- Aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to communicate technical solutions to non technical individuals
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work with minimum supervision
This is a temporary contract running until March 2022.
