Our client based on the outskirts of Lincoln is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team. Due to the site location you must have your own transport.

Main responsibilities for this role will be:

* Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and generate new leads

* Research organisations, individuals and events for new opportunities

* Find and develop new markets and ways to contact prospects

* Identify potential decision makers within a business and find ways to contact them

* Understand business pain points and issues to be able to explain how they can be overcome

* Attend conferences, meetings and trade shows

* Deliver consistent results for generations of leads

* Gain and maintain relationships with referrers and consultants to gain new business

It's essential that you have:

* Good communication skills

* Strong team player and good at building new relationships

* Be self-motivated and demonstrate a positive outlook

* Abilities to work quickly and accurately having a keen eye for detail

* Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Office)

* Planning and organisational skills

* Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and be able to handle uncertainty

You must have previous business development experience and experience using CRM systems.
