As one of the local leading providers of palliative and end of life care, St Andrew's Hospice is a highly successful and forward-thinking charity with a turnover of cGBP5m, offering both adult and children's services. With an excellent reputation both in the local community and beyond, we reach over 800 patients and their families in North East Lincolnshire and our wider catchment area of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, Hull and East Yorkshire for our children's services.

This newly created position within the senior management team will play a key strategic role in transforming our digital capabilities, increasing our digital presence and functionality.

We are specifically looking for candidates who can lead on the following areas:

Development and implementation of an innovative digital strategy, raising awareness of the charity and generating income.
Embed a digital-first culture, managing change with and upskilling key stakeholders.
Measure and continuously optimise performance.
Horizon scanning within the evolving digital environment.

We are therefore, looking for an established and innovative professional with a broad range of IT and digital skills with expertise and passion for developing and delivering key strategies to engage and excite our key audiences, while making the best use of technology to increase our efficiency.

The main purpose of this role is to design, implement and maintain our digital first engagement strategy to help support and deliver the organisation's strategy in a time of growth, raising awareness of our brand and the work of the charity with internal and external audiences. You will also be familiar with emerging IT.

As the ideal candidate you will have experience of delivering and driving compelling and engaging digital solutions across all digital channels, and ideally be knowledgeable with clinical software systems in particular SystmOne. You will be capable and excited to use your technical expertise to support the teams through the process of creating new digital products and services, supporting them in developing their own digital skills. You will have a sound track record and knowledge of monitoring and evaluating digital activity to enable informed decision-making and ensure all work undertaken is data-driven and evidence-based, whilst engagement levels are consistently reviewed and improved.

The role requires a proactive, organised, and practical approach to ensure projects are delivered effectively and efficiently, while providing high quality support and customer service across the organisation. In addition, the ability to work unsupervised and apply problem-solving skills are also critical to this role with proven experience in managing the expectations of a number of stakeholders with competing priorities.
