Groundworker (Habitat Creation and Ecology)
Site Based, Commutable from Tetbury, Stroud, Yate
GBP20,000-GBP25,000 + Training + Progression + Healthcare + Annual Bonus + Monday-Friday (no weekends)
Are you a hands on individual from a forestry, groundworks, landscaping or similar background looking to start a new role where you can work directly on animal conservation projects to help with the preservation of UK wildlife?
Do you want to join a company offering an exciting varied role with plenty of training and scope to progress your career to become a technical expert?
On offer is an exciting position with a company that provides environmental advice and contracting services to clients on a UK wide scale. They create habitats and work on long-term projects to ensure the conservation and preservation of protected animal species in the UK. Due to continued success of their projects and recent contracts being signed, they are looking for an individual who is passionate about the environment and conservation to join the team ad help play a pioneering role in the protection of UK wildlife.
In this site-based role, you will travel across the UK to reach sites where you will work hands-on to create new or improve existing outdoor animal habitats, doing anything from fencing and planting to landscaping areas ready for new projects. In this varied role, you will travel and stay away at different sites across the UK, to work with a wide range of protected and endangered species.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the environment and looking to work in a hands on role to make real and direct change to the conservation and protection of UK wildlife.
The Person:
* Passionate about the environment and animal conservation
* Willing to work outdoors year round
* Willing to stay away to work on projects (week days only)
* Hold a UK drivers licence
The Role:
* Work hands-on to complete projects to conserve UK wildlife
* Travel to sites across the UK
* Lots of training available
